Refund policy

Who this applies to

This policy covers one-time purchases from Rethunk.Tech, LLC., operating as Albino Geek Services, through albinogeek.com: digital guides and kits, bundles, Guided Setup sessions, Done-For-You packages and their change orders, and the Discord + Buyer-Bot Setup. All prices and refunds are in US dollars (USD). Nothing in it removes consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

Digital products

This covers the AI Field Guide, the Skills & Rules Starter Kit, the Builder Edition, and the MCP Production Playbook.

Voluntary refund window: If you have not accessed the substantive content of a purchased guide or kit (for example, you have not downloaded materials or accepted a repository invitation where delivery is via GitHub), you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase via the Contact page with your order details. Where delivery has started in good faith, we may decline a refund for content already supplied.

How refunds are paid: Approved refunds are issued through our payment processor (Stripe). Timing on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer; we typically process approved refunds within a few business days.

Payment disputes: If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first so we can fix it. If you open a card or wallet dispute, we will respond accurately to the processor. Nothing here limits chargeback or dispute rights your network or bank may offer.

Bundles

The Get Set Up bundle (Field Guide, Starter Kit, and Guided Setup) and the Builder bundle (Field Guide, Builder Edition, and Guided Setup) are refunded by component:

• Digital parts follow the Digital products rules above (7-day window when substantive content has not been accessed).
• The included Guided Setup is a booking credit. It expires 90 days from purchase and cannot be booked after that. We email a reminder 30 days before it expires. Once booked, the session follows the Guided Setup rules below.
• An expired credit is not refunded and has no cash value.

Guided Setup

Guided Setup sessions use this schedule:

• Cancellations 24 hours or more before the scheduled slot receive a full refund of that booking, processed as above.
• Cancellations under 24 hours, or no-shows, forfeit that slot and the associated payment, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If you have an emergency, reach out on the Contact page and we will be reasonable where we can.
• A Guided Setup bought on its own must be booked within 90 days from purchase and cannot be booked after that. If a session is moved and we cannot agree on a replacement time within that window, the session is forfeited.

Done-For-You packages

Done-For-You Essentials and Done-For-You Complete are fixed packages defined by deliverables. There are no milestone or partial refunds:

• Before kickoff: full refund.
• After kickoff: no refund. Once kickoff has happened, we deliver the whole package.
• After handover: the fixes window (14 days for Essentials, 30 days for Complete) is the remedy for problems found after handover.

Change orders (an extra skill at $250 USD each) are refundable in full until work on that skill starts.

Discord + Buyer-Bot Setup

Discord + Buyer-Bot Setup ($599 USD, fixed scope) is service work, not a digital download. If you cancel via the Contact page before setup work begins (no configuration applied to your server, no deploy scripts run against your environment), you may request a full refund. Once scoped work has started in good faith, refunds are limited to unused scope we agree in writing; post-handoff community management is not included and is not refundable as a retainer.

Governing law and your rights

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in it removes consumer rights you have where you live. Where that law gives you a refund, return, or cancellation right, the right applies even if this policy says otherwise.
